End of July 483/4 - fall of 484: General rebellion in the diocese of Oriens
September of 484: The rebels (Artemidoros, Papimos) are defeated by the imperial troops (John the Skythian) near Antioch. The remaining rebels take refuge in the fort of Papyrios. The rebellion in the diocese of Oriens is suppressed
Fall of 484-488: The rebels remain under siege in the fort of Cherris (or of Papyrios). The imperial troops, under John the Scythian, Theodoric (Amalos) and Ermanaric succesively, struggle with the Isaurian rebels under Indacus Cottunes throughout Isauria
Fall of 484: Trokoundos, the brother of Illos, is arrested and executed
Fall of 484: Ailia Verina passes out. Pamprepios is executed, accussed of treason
488: Capture of the fort of Papyrios by Lilingis. Illos and Leontios are arrested and the rebellion is definitely suppressed. Decapitation of the two leaders of the rebellion
