1041: Elevates on the imperial throne his nephew Michael V (1041-1042). Michael V, not tolerating Orphanotrophos’ influence, removes him from Constantinople
1042: Sent in exile in Lesbos from Emperor Constantine IX Monomachos (1042-1055)
13 May 1043: John dies in Lesbos
